Ms. Riehl has over 20 years combined experience in Nursing. She began practicing at WMMDC in May 2004. As a Nurse Practitioner, she specializes in our gynecological services and is responsible for performing medical exams and minor procedures, as well as treating acute and chronic illnesses and counseling patients on a number of wellness topics. She is also responsible for overseeing the Horse & Buggy Program, WMMDC’s Amish outreach initiative.

Ms. Riehl is Board Certified and holds a certification as a Registered Nurse Practitioner and a Masters in Nursing Science both from Millersville University, as well as her degree in Nursing from the Lancaster General School of Nursing.

Prior to joining Welsh Mountain Medical & Dental Center, Dorcas was a Nurse at Brethren Village in Lititz.

Ms. Riehl enjoys giving back to the community in which she resides through her medical knowledge and expertise, as well as enjoying her husband and daughter.
