Our Patients Need Your Help
In fiscal year 2011, Welsh Mountain provided $4,721,116 (an increase of $552,563, or 13.3%) in medical and dental services to over 8,000 patients. Of that, $2,210,374 (up $408,079, or 22.6%) was in uncompensated care. In other words, of the $552,563 increase in services, Welsh Mountain was paid $.24 on the dollar.
Horse & Buggy Program Featured by Lancaster County Community Foundation
Isn’t this video wonderful? The Lancaster County Community Foundation featured our Horse & Buggy Program in their annual report and showed this video at their annual meeting. Welsh Mountain received a $50,000 grant to expand this valuable program which provides in-home immunizations and well-child check-ups to Amish and Old Order Mennonite families.
